Katreena Niebla, Chief Operating Officer

As the Chief Operating Officer at Building Science, I’ve been steering daily construction operations and in-house management since February 2024. 

 

My role involves ensuring that projects progress smoothly and efficiently while overseeing the team’s day-to-day activities.

With over 12 years of experience in property and project management, I’ve handled a diverse portfolio, including commercial properties and custom-built residential homes.

 

My expertise spans administrative functions, contract management, and effective communication, all of which contribute to my ability to lead and streamline operations.

Originally from Ft. Lauderdale, FL, my family and I relocated to Honolulu in 2023, thanks to a Coast Guard transfer. 

 

Alongside my spouse and two children, we’ve embraced island life with enthusiasm, including our beloved four-legged family member (who may just be the favorite!).

When I’m not working, you’ll find me enjoying the sun—whether poolside, beachside, or navigating the waters as Co-Captain with my family.

I’m thrilled to be part of the Building Science team and look forward to contributing to our collective success here in Hawaii.
